As most of the tourists spend their first day of Isfahan in Naghsh-e-Jahan square so they need a good restaurant in the same place where they can have something and then get back to the square. So in this case our first suggestion is Bagh Homayoun restaurant. It’s just a 5-minute walk from the square and as you get into the yard you will feel the Iranian oldies design of it.

They have one of the best menus with so many Iranian dishes that don’t serve in the other places. There are 4 different salads with great dressing and fresh fruit juice. Depending on the high season they sometimes serve a buffet too but if you go there in the crowded days, don’t forget to ring the bell on your table to call the waiters, otherwise they are sometimes so busy to take your order. The prices aren’t expensive but as soon as you Contact us we will send you a promotion code.

Don’t waste your time in Naghsh-e-Jahan square, looking for a good coffee, go directly to Spadana Cáfe in one of the small yards of the square where there are many antique stores around. It’s the the first coffee shop of Iran who a lady called “Eli” has founded and keeps running it, now they have 6 staff who love their jobs. So to try the small business of Iranian ladies, go there and have something in their friendly setting. The prices are so reasonable and they have a good menu with lots of infusion, coffee, tea and local cookies that all taste so delicious.

Sometimes tourists feel like eating some foods with lots of cheese and great vegetarian salads for dinner, so for one the nights that you go walking around the river and visiting the historical bridges, have your dinner in Nikan restaurant near Khajou bridge. It’s a modern restaurant with live music on the weekend with a great setting.

There is a long menu with two options of Persian and international food where you can order fresh fruit juice delicious dessert. They are so expert in making salads and the dressing but be careful with your order, because they all come in big portions and you can easily share each of them with one more person. The prices are a little high but you can send us an email to get promotional code to have some discount.

Have you finished your visit of the main square and now you would like to spend your time somewhere nice and relaxing? So don’t miss Houger Cáfe in Dehdashti house. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the square to this coffee shop. It used to be  a merchant house but as it’s renovated and change to be a monument of the city, so many people especially young people go there to sit in the garden and drinking coffee. They also serve light food so if you plan to go out at night, this will be one of the best options.
